The Art Room Takeovers

Are you an artist looking for space to teach art classes or workshops? Are you an arts organization looking to attract a new audience from Hartford? Hold your art making workshops in the Greater Hartford Arts Council’s Art Room, a creative space located in downtown Hartford!

What you get...
 Free use of the Arts Council’s 100 Pearl Street Art Room for up to 2 hours (a series of workshops is OK, too)
 Two 8 foot tables, one 4 foot round table, and chairs
 Space for up to 25 participants
 Promotional support through our extensive social media and e-letter communication channels
 Online registration through the Arts Council’s website
 All registration fees minus a modest charge for administrative support*
 A copy of the contact information for your attendees

What you do...
 Design a cool arts activity
 Invite your friends and followers
 Bring art supplies and, if you like, food and beverage. Alcohol is OK in moderation.
 Set up and break down the space

Who can take over The Art Room?
Art Room Takeovers are welcome from individual artists and 501c3 nonprofit organizations that have a physical address in the Greater Hartford Arts Council's 34 town service area

Interested in taking over our Art Room? Complete the proposal form and send it to Amanda Roy, Community Programs Manager (aroy@letsgoarts.org). We’ll let you know the status of your proposal within 2 weeks.
