General Festival Information:

  • The lights are aglow nightly from November 27 to January 6, from 4pm-Midnight;
  • Activites are held at the Opening Ceremony and on Santa Saturdays;
  • There is no admission fee for the Hartford Festival of LightR, but we do ask that you consider donating a toy at any one of our particpating toy collection locations.
  • Ample parking is available in the Constitution Plaza Garages and State House Square Garage and are free on opening ceremony night with the donation of a toy or $5 to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves' Toys for Tots program.

    Bring the kids back for Santa Saturdays activities at Constitution Plaza, the Old State House and State House Square. Sit down with Santa and don’t forget to bring your camera!

The Lights @ Constitution Plaza (dusk-Midnight every day until Jan. 6), 114 Market Street, Hartford. There are several parking garages and on-street parking nearby. 

Santa Claus @ State House Square, 800 Main Street, Hartford.

Living history characters, holiday stories and tours @ Connecticut Old State House, 800 Main Street, Hartford.

Make a night of it; stroll Constitution Plaza, take photos of the lights, and visit the Old State House and State House Square for activities.  Don't forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves' Toys for Tots program. Please consider making dinner reservations at restaurants participating in the Let*s GO Arts! discount program and taking in the Awesomest Arts Thingy Ever!
